List N' Pack is a simple packing list app designed to help you organize your trips with reusable, customizable categories and items. We keep things lightweight and private. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
1. Information We Collect
List N' Pack does not require a separate app account or login. Your lists are saved on your device. Starting with version 1.4, the app also automatically backs up and synchronizes your lists using your Apple Account's private iCloud storage when iCloud is available.
Device Information
If you download or use the app, Apple or your device may provide basic, non-identifying analytics such as crash reports, performance data, or general usage statistics. This data does not include your personal information or any content you create inside the app.
Email Support
If you email us at support@listnpack.com, we will receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, the message content, and any screenshots you attach. This information is used only to respond to your support request.
Website Analytics
Our website uses GoatCounter to understand visits, including pages viewed, referring websites, browser and device information, and approximate location based on IP address. GoatCounter does not use browser cookies or store IP addresses in its analytics database. This website service does not receive your packing lists. See GoatCounter's privacy policy for details.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not receive your packing lists, categories, or items on our own servers. In version 1.4 and later, the app sends this content to your private iCloud storage for backup and synchronization. The app does not collect your Apple Account password, location, contacts, photos, or payment information. We do not run ads or sell user data.
3. How Your Data Is Used
We use the limited data we receive to operate and improve the app and website, troubleshoot technical issues, and respond to support messages. We do not use your data for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps and websites.
4. Data Storage
Your lists, categories, quantities, ordering, and packing progress are saved locally. Starting with version 1.4, they are also backed up automatically to your private iCloud storage. Devices running version 1.4 or later and using the same Apple Account can restore and synchronize this data. The app retains up to 20 backup snapshots to help preserve earlier copies. Availability depends on your iCloud account, storage, and network connection.
Deleting the app removes its local data. Copies in iCloud may remain and restore when you reinstall the app. Support emails you send us are stored in our email system for customer support.
5. Third-Party Services
Starting with version 1.4, List N' Pack uses Apple's iCloud and CloudKit services for private backup and synchronization. These services are subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. The app does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. Apple may provide App Store usage and crash information under its own privacy policy. The website uses GoatCounter as described above.
6. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can address it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your country or region, you may have rights such as requesting deletion of support emails you've sent or requesting information about data we hold. To make a request, email support@listnpack.com. Your private iCloud storage is managed through your Apple Account; we do not have access to those packing lists.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on our website.
